Business Owner accounts are for owners or managers of physical properties being inspected — examples include building owners, landlords, or on-site property managers. This account provides limited access to view inspections reports, deficiencies, due dates, and add additional contacts. These accounts are only recommended for active property owners or managers of multiple properties and are not recommended for the majority of Business Owners. Business Owner accounts are not currently required for any core functionality of LIV.
Further, if you are a fire inspection or ITM company, an Inspection Company account would be the appropriate selection in lieu of a Business Owner account.
Registering a Business or Premises Account in LIV
It’s easy to create a business or premises account in LivSafe. Just follow these direct steps to get set up quickly:
Step 1: From the LIV homepage, Click the Login button in the upper right.
Step 2: On the login page, scroll down to the business owner section, and click the this form hyperlink.
Step 3: Enter your personal information—your name, email, and phone number—into the required fields.
Step 4: Enter your primary business information, including business name and details.
Step 5: Select the system types present at the business such as backflow tests, alarms, sprinklers, or other systems relevant to your business.
Step 6: If you represent or need access to more than one business, add additional businesses by uploading an Excel document. The Excel document must include columns for Business Name, Address, City, State, Zip/Postal code, and System Types.
Step 7: Indicate if your business performs inspections or services by selecting the appropriate option. (Selecting yes will typically result in a request to make an Inspection Company account instead of a Business Owner account)
Step 8: Click Submit to send your registration. Your form will be reviewed by our support team, if verified and approved, users will receive an email from noreply@livsafe.com with temporary login credentials.
